Sup guys, it's been a while! So I just had my first good session of live poker. Feels good man! Played a game of 25-25 blinds, 9 players, all of them are regulars in that card club, soooo I decided to just play my game, that means play TIGHT poker. hahaha.. Folded a lot, so just took the time to read my opponents, a couple of them play tight, so I try GTFO of their way when they make a move, one was really loose, I tried to study his starting hands, and he was playing 10 4 off suit, 59 off, K9 off etc. He was winning a LOT of  hands by just bullying the other tight players. I knew I could take this guy down, so after folding a hundred hands (LOL), I finally get a hand, AK off, so I raised to 100, and he calls, next thing I know, it's heads up. Then flop goes 3,5,6 rainbow. WTF right? Missed the board soooo bad, but I was in position so I didn't worry too much. He checked, so I made a continuation bet of 150, about a lil over half the pot, and he calls! Turn is a 9, Now I start to worry hahaha I was afraid that he hit the board cause he was playing his trash, BUT HE CHECKS AGAIN! So I made a senseless bet of 300 just to make him fold. But guess what? He calls again! WTFucking Fuck! But just before the river card gets dealt, he says 'Pag hindi diamonds yan river, fold nako' THEN BOOM! The river card is a Queen of Spades! He checks, then I go for broke, I put my remaining chips in the middle of the table, Praying to God that, he will fold.... hahaha can't believe I put all my chips in with just... AIR. Just a stone... cold....bluff. Then.. just after the fat lady warmed up her voice.. the villain folds.. and I rejoice a little inside. HAHAHA! After that, I played more relaxed and confident poker, I won a few hands here and there.. even busted out the manager of the club, he was playing in our table, he was Short stacked, and went over the top with my preflop raise, I had AQ and he shoved with 77. Instacall! The flop was a beauty, AQJ then Q on the turn giving me a full house, the river card doesn't even matter because he was drawing dead by then so yeah that felt quite good. haha After that I was up to about 3500. I decided to call it a night after a few hands, finished the night with 3600. So twas a good session for me. :) Plus, I got to spend time with a couple of my good friends, they had fun playing poker too. We enjoyed the free buffet dinner and the free beers. Lol So all in all, It was an awesome night. Looking forward to more nights like that, so yeah I don't even know if I'm making sense here, it's almost 3am and I'm half asleep typing whatever pops in my head just to update my blog hahaha okay so I guess that's it and I'll keep you guys posted okay? ... was the username of the player who knocked me out of the tournament. I don't really get it but yeah, it has the word 'blue' on it and it's my Girlfriend's favorite color so yeah. (Yeah you were on my mind) I guess that would make her smile. :P OK ANYWAYS, Played $3 KO SitnGo. 90 entrants, and guess what? I got to my first final table in FTP. whut up? haha On my last hand, I made a donk move by shoving all in with AK on a missed board, apparently, he had a straight. lol Anyway, I finished 4th in the tourney with $25. So not bad, could've done better though. So I'm back to $110 after my string of ugly losses. haha I thought I was on my way to getting busto. Apparently not. :) Well, not yet. lol I guess I'm learning more and more each day. B-) That's all for now! I'll keep you guys posted. Bye!

Just got home from a long, tiring day at school. I've had zero sleep for the past 36+ hours and I feel like shit.. I can't play like this. So sorry guys, no fish stories for today. I'll be hitting the sheets now. Smell ya later.

Ok, so i just finished my first session ever after getting my starting capital.. and it sucked. I played horrible. just.. horrible. I played my first tournament for today with a $2 buy in. There were 540 entrants. I started real slow , being dealt with trash, like J2o, 75o ,62o and such. After a few hands.. that I was uninvolved of course, I finally got a premium hand. KK. then busted a player. So that made me survive a few more hands. My bad luck continued after that, being dealt with trash hand after hand. So I was blinded out. Surpringly I finished at 42nd place with $5. After that I took a break and tried to play SNG. I played 2 $2 SNG and 9 $1 SNG and guess effing what?? I finished 9th place on the 2 and the rest, 4th! and there are only 3 places paid for each SNG. To finish fourth is just.. devastating. That put me on tilt which totally affected my game. I was shoving with small pocket pairs on a paired board. Yes, its me. BUBBLE BOY. I stopped playing before my bankroll goes to busto city.  Please forgive for this crappy post. It's 4am in the morning I just did schoolwork and played LOSING poker. Plus, I have a lot on my mind right now. I'm hoping for a better result tomorrow. I'll keep you guys posted. Peace.

Hello World!

As the title says, Hello World! I just made a blog (which is kinda gay) but I'm gonna do my best to make this blog manly. yeah thats right, MANLY. ya dig? Plus I need to burn the time.  This will be my first post. I am still unsure why I'm doing this, normally I don't broadcast my life over the internet. lol but this isn't gonna be about my life. This is gonna be about poker.. okay, maybe I'll be telling you about how my day went every once in a while, but aside from that, poker. Yeah, poker. I've been inlove with it for almost a year now. From home games to online poker to card rooms. Of course I wasn't any good at first, I was more of a lucky player. Then days, weeks, months pass by.. I learned how to really play poker. I learned that like in everything, it has a proper approach. It's not just a game of luck, otherwise it would be BINGO. ya dig me mah brotha from anotha motha? (sorry i had to say that to make it sound more manly) okay moving on, like I said poker is a game of skill with the element of luck. Which means, yes captain obvious, you need both to win. Right now I don't have that kind of luck yet that's why I'm not winning $$$ yet. But I'm definitely learning more and more each day. Been reading books, well ebooks actually and strategy articles online that can help improve my game. So I'll be posting here my ups and downs in poker,most of the time I'll rant about bad beats but yeah whatever. whew! sorry I've been typing senseless things in here. It's amazing what boredom and sadness can make you do. oh well. congrats! you've just wasted 5 minutes of your life! lol I promise to make my second post better. Thats all for now. Smell ya later!
